Caboodle Easter Layout

| | |

As promised, here is another Caboodle project. This is an Easter layout that uses photos of my kiddos from last year. I thought the colors went well with their outfits, although it doesn’t look like it in these photos. (I got a new camera for Christmas and am still trying to figure out how to use it. LOL!)

I used a few products from the new 2010 Spring Catalog including the Caboodle paper packet. I also used some of the new Spring Just Blooms Flowers. I love the new shapes. The pack even comes with cute little paper butterflies! The title is cut with a Cricut that I borrowed from my sweet friend Vanessa. (I am in love with it and now NEED to get one!) I used the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge for the title. The white border edges are cut with my scallop scissors.
I used some white chipboard from the Borders Dimensional Elements. For the word “blessings” I used the new Irresistibles Lots of Dots which is a super fun new product. They are white stickers with invisible dots that show up when you ink them with chalk, ink, etc.
Here is a close up of the journaling. I used a font called Fontdinerdotcom and added some faux stitching around the edge with my Chocolate marker.
Check out these new flowers. Aren’t they beautiful? I just love the detailed petals. I layered a Creme Bruleé flower on top of a white one and added a Crystal Blue button with some white Waxy Flax. It may be hard to see, but I actually pulled out my sewing machine and stitched some white thread around the edges of the pages.
All supplies are from CTMH unless otherwise noted.
