Blog Backgrounds

|

As you may have noticed, I have been playing with my blog backgrounds for the past couple weeks. I keep going back and forth between wanting to have a cute background and not. (Thanks Kimberly for your sweet comment about the background I had up during the past few days.)

I decided that the backgrounds I was playing with, although cute, were too bold and distracting, so…I am going to leave the background white until I can figure out a way to make it more subtle.

  1. Hope you find a happy medium for your blog. I just spruced mine up a bit with a kit from Shabby Miss Jenn. I think I like it and may have learned enough from the tutorial to try to do something on my own. (now THAT’S a scary thought). *Ü*

  2. Yes, I was going to tell you about SMJ, but Jeanne beat me to it. They do have some really nice blog kits for sale there. I went to that website you posted a while back and I thought that the pages were nice, but that the scale was off a bit. So, I made my own using the digital kit of my choosing. It was super easy and I can change it to suit whatever holiday or season I want.

I hope you find something you like!

  3. I can’t believe I just read this post!!! I am surfing blogs with the same decision in mind. I think I am going back to white!

  4. Hi Lisa!

I like a plain background myself. I think when the backgrounds are too busy they compete with the artwork. Love your blog! BTW, I left you something on my blog!

    Happy Stamping!
