A Little Everything Cards

| | | |

These cards were inspired by the super cute cards made by Karen Pedersen and Christine Adams. You ladies are such an inspiration to me! Thank you! *Ü*

I used the wonderful CTMH March Stamp of the Month called A Little Everything. (This is a MUST HAVE set for every card maker!) Click here for more information on how you can get the set at a discount or ever for FREE!

I used Baby Pink cardstock on both cards with the fun Noted Background set. I used Cocoa ink on the first card and Black ink on the second. (I definitely like the Black ink better, but I think I like the placement of the elements better on the Cocoa card. What do you think?) I also used some Ric Rac from the Blush Ribbon Rounds.

Cocoa ink (I really need to re-ink my Cocoa pad! LOL!)
Black ink

You’ll never guess what I used to make the flower! I punched some pink napkins with a scallop circle punch. Then I used the piercing tool to make a hole in the middle and a Pink Brad to hold the pieces together. I scrunched up the flower “petals” and fluffed them a bit to make it look like a flower. (Here’s a tip: make sure you sandwich your napkin between two sheets of copy paper before you try to punch it. Otherwise you will have a big mess and your punch will jam. Trust me on this one. LOL!)
All supplies are from CTMH unless otherwise noted.

With Easter coming up this Sunday, I thought I would share a gift that I made that is perfect for celebrating the Lord’s resurrection. 1. These are too cute Lisa! I also loved Karen's cards and saved them in my inspiration folder, now I'll be adding yours too.

I wanted to tell you that I "lifted" one of your cards for my card workshop this last weekend (crediting you, of course) and the ladies just thought it was so cute. It was the one I commented on a while back, the one your hubby got out of your stash and gave to you for Valentine's. I just changed the background b&t and colors of some of the ink, but it's pretty much the same card. Thank you so much again for the inspiration!

  2. These are beautiful cards, Lisa. I agree with you about the color and placement of the embellishments. The napkin flower is sooo striking – what a great idea! I love your work!

  3. Just stop it!!! I just want to be you, creatively. You know how much I love your style and these cards are NO exception. Off to copy, I mean lift 🙂

  4. LOVE these cards! I am honored that something I made inspired these delicious creations. I am so excited about that flower. I'm off to make one!

  5. Oh my goodness! I was really NO inspiration on this one – it was all you and Karen!! I absolutely LOVE these! Thank you for sharing!!

  6. Beautiful cards Lisa! Wow, I can't
believe those flowers are made from
napkins, they look so life like.
I'll have to go buy some colored
    napkins now! Great inspiration!
    Hugs,
    Maryellen

  7. I am trying to find the card you posted yesterday using the napkin flowers, but Blogger seems to have hidden or deleted. At any rate, I wanted to tell you that I think these flowers are adorable and thank you so much for the leaf technique. Why didn't I think of that!!!
