I created this unique card using the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder, White Pigment ink, and a bit of Shimmery White Embossing Paste. I first lightly inked the edges of a piece of Bubble Bath cardstock with Bubble Bath ink using a Blending Brush.
Then I embossed the Bubble Bath cardstock with the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder. I lightly swiped the White Pigment ink pad on top of the embossed areas. After letting it dry for a bit, I used my finger to carefully brush on some Shimmery White Embossing Paste over the embossed and inked areas. (It’s hard to see in the photos, but there is a beautiful glittery shimmer on the trees when the light hits the card just right.)
I matted the embossed cardstock to a Silver Foil Sheet leaving a very thin border. Then adhered the matted piece to a card base made from a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. I stamped another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock with a sentiment from the Peaceful Season stamp set and die cut it using a banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered it to the bottom right corner with some Dimensionals. I colored some Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Dark Moody Mauve Blends Marker and added them to the card. (I tried the Bubble Bath Marker first, but it wasn’t dark enough.)
To finish off the card, I stamped the rest of the sentiment on the inside of the card and stamped the trees on the bottom from the Peaceful Evergreens stamp set. I love how the card turned out. The shimmer and the pink color give this Christmas card a unique style.
