Curled Paper Christmas Wreath

This wreath was inspired by Debbi Fournier who was inspired by Roberta Dermody. It was so quick and easy to make! I started with a 12″ green foam wreath. Then I cut (8) 12″ x 12″ sheets of patterned paper from the Pear & Partridge Collection and the Stella Collection into 1/2″ x 12″ strips. Using a bone folder, I curled each strip of paper like you would do with ribbon when wrapping a gift.

I attached the curled strips to the wreath with small sewing pins. To finish off the wreath, I added three small ornaments to the center with a small organza bow on top of each one.

These fun wreaths can be made using just about any shape or image. I made one last year using 3-D paper flowers cut from the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. You can see some photos of it here and a video on how to make them here.

Happy wreath making! *Ü*

  1. I just found your blog. Lovely. The paper really curls like that? I haven't tried to curl paper. You could use those scarp paper piles for this…
